While visiting my optometrist for a new pair of specs, I started trying on different styles. I was going through pair after pair of what I thought were non-prescription reading glasses, growing frustrated that my vision remained blurred. Suddenly the optometrist, said, “You know those lenses are only made of common glass? The eyeglasses are there only to display the frames.” Boy, was my face red!
