“YOU NEVER KNOW HOW GIVING A LITTLE CAN MEAN SO MUCH!”
I was in a rush on my midday walk with my dog, Ezzy. As we headed home, a woman using a walker shuffled toward us.
She paused and gazed down at Ezzy. I lowered my eyes, preparing to rush by. But then I stopped, and the woman unleashed a stream of sweet compliments. I believe she used the word adorable at least five times while she ruffled Ezzy behind the ears. “You brought a smile to my face!” she said. For only giving five minutes of my time, Ezzy was able to make her entire day. I felt humbled. You never know how giving a little can mean so much! — Kathryn Streeter, Washington, D.C.
“I LOVE TO PASS ALONG THE JOY!”
I have been a subscriber to Woman’s
World for a while. I especially love the “7 Days of Inspiration,” “A Moment for You” and “You Deserve Good Things” bookmarks. I clip them out and send them to co-workers and friends who I know are in need of comfort, encouragement and even praise. It is so nice to hear many of them say that they came in the mail at just the right moment. I believe everyone needs to know just how important they are and how much it means to have them in our lives. Thank you, Woman’s World, for making my life brighter so I can pass on the joy to others!

“WE WERE SO GRATEFUL TO ALL WHO PITCHED IN TO HELP US OUT!”
My family and I were visiting Jekyll Island, Georgia, doing some shopping, when my daughter realized she’d lost her purse. It contained her driver’s license, debit card and all the money she had brought. We began retracing our steps. When we went back into one of the shops, the clerk, seeing our frantic expressions, asked if she could help. We explained and a phone chain was started. She called one store, they called another, and so on. Within 10 minutes, the purse was located! A couple had found it on their way to lunch and turned it in to the restaurant manager. We are so grateful to everyone who pitched in to help us! — Nora Smith, St. Petersburg, FL
