7 days of inspiration

When Woman’s World reader Patricia Burry of Santa Ana, California, got lost while on vacation with her husband, an Earth angel pointed them in the right direction. She writes:

While vacationing in London, my husband and I decided to take the Tube out of the city to spend the day doing some sightseeing. We had a delightful afternoon. But on our way back, we became very confused about how to get to the right station to catch the Tube back to our hotel.

While looking around the very busy and crowded area, we grew quite anxious, as there were numerous large signs posted with high-crime and robbery warnings. We were hesitant to ask a passing stranger for help, yet didn’t want to just blindly enter any station.

As we stood on a street corner, wondering what to do, suddenly, a very beautiful young, blond woman approached us. Her skin was so clear, it seemed as if you could see through it.

Without asking if we needed help, she proceeded to tell us how to get to the correct station. She seemed to know exactly where we wanted to go.

My husband and I looked at each other, stunned. Deeply grateful, we turned to thank the young woman— but she was gone. We looked up and down the street but didn’t see her. She had just vanished.

It was then that we both realized God had sent a beautiful angel to point us in the right direction and lead us out of any danger.

The whole way back to our hotel, we felt completely at ease. My husband and I both had this unexplainable, comforting feeling that we were being watched over and protected. That feeling stayed with us until we made it back to our hotel safely.

Today my husband and I consider getting lost one of the best parts of our vacation. For it reminded us that we all have guardian angels, ready and willing to come to our aid in our times of need.
