My guardian angel

When Woman’s World reader Kathy Kilcrease needed help moving furniture, the angels sent a Good Samaritan to assist her. She writes:

My mom and I were very close. On weekends, we would take road trips to nowhere. We’d just drive around and have fun finding our way home. Mom had diabetes, and eventually, her health declined. When she passed away, I was heartbroken.

A couple of years later, my marriage fell apart. More than anything, I wished Mom was there to help me through this difficult time.

After finding a small studio apartment, my sisters suggested we go to a local thrift store to see if we could find furniture to furnish my new place.

My nephew told me he had a truck we could use, so we all piled in and went shopping. We found a nice kitchen table and two chairs, and, given my limited space, I decided a foldout couch would be the best thing to buy for the living room. Luckily, they had a nice one that had just come in that day, but it was extremely heavy.

On our way home, we were all talking about how we were

going to carry that couch into the apartment. My whole family reads the “My Guardian Angel” column in Woman’s World, so I asked the angels to give us the strength to do this.

As we were pulling into the driveway, there was a young man standing right in the

middle of it. I jumped out of the truck and asked the young gentleman if he would mind helping us move the couch into the apartment. “Sure!” he said. He helped my nephew get the couch out of the truck, but once they got up to the door, they realized it was too big to fit. While we were thinking about what to do next, the young man went around front and said, “We can bring it in through the large picture window.”

I told him we have no idea how to remove the window. He gave me a big smile, and, with a twinkle in his eye, he said, “I install windows for a living!”

He removed the window in a snap, and he and my nephew were able to hoist the couch through. I told him I would pay him for helping us, but he said it was his pleasure to help out.

When I went outside to thank him again and ask him his name, he was gone. I was so thrilled that my prayers were answered. I know my mom sent us a guardian angel to help me get settled in my new apartment.

ANGEL EXPERT KYLE GRAY SAYS…

“Our loved ones and angels work together in Heaven to bring miracles and loving reminders that they are close. If we have just a little faith and trust in our prayers, they will be answered.

“I believe that young man was inspired by his angels to be an Earth angel that day. He is a loving reminder of the good that exists within the world today— and proof that Kathy’s mom and angels are always listening and will do everything they can to help!”
