Sleep outside!
Tonight is the perfect night to sleep under the stars! You’re practically guaranteed a good night’s rest, suggests research at the University of Colorado at Boulder. They found that people who camped out slept 2 hours longer than normal each night of their weeklong trip, and additional research found similar results for weekend campers. The reason? Being exposed to the sun all day and letting the night sky dictate your bedtime resets your circadian clock, so your body releases sleep-inducing melatonin up to 2.5 hours earlier. The result? Deep Zzzs all night long!
