Chicken ’n’ Waffles
This mash- up of breakfast and dinner is made extra easy with convenient frozen fried chicken
1⁄3 cup barbecue sauce 1⁄3 cup mayonnaise 12 pieces frozen fully cooked air-fried chicken breast strips, from
2 ( 20 oz.) pkgs.
2 cups Bisquick baking mix
1 1⁄3 cups milk
1 egg
2 Tbs. butter, melted Micro greens and lemon
Heat oven to 400°F. Mix sauce and mayonnaise; reserve.
Heat chicken according to package directions. Remove from oven; lightly cover to keep warm. Turn off oven. Meanwhile, heat waffle iron according to manufacturer’s directions. In bowl, mix Bisquick, milk, egg and butter. In batches, cook waffles according to manufacturer’s directions. Transfer to baking sheet; keep warm in oven between batches. Serve waffles with chicken and reserved sauce mixture. If desired, garnish with greens and lemon.
