Chicken ’n’ Waffles

This mash- up of breakfast and dinner is made extra easy with convenient frozen fried chicken

1⁄3 cup barbecue sauce 1⁄3 cup mayonnaise 12 pieces frozen fully cooked air-fried chicken breast strips, from

2 ( 20 oz.) pkgs.

2 cups Bisquick baking mix

1 1⁄3 cups milk

1 egg

2 Tbs. butter, melted Micro greens and lemon

Heat oven to 400°F. Mix sauce and mayonnaise; reserve.

Heat chicken according to package directions. Remove from oven; lightly cover to keep warm. Turn off oven. Meanwhile, heat waffle iron according to manufactur­er’s directions. In bowl, mix Bisquick, milk, egg and butter. In batches, cook waffles according to manufactur­er’s directions. Transfer to baking sheet; keep warm in oven between batches. Serve waffles with chicken and reserved sauce mixture. If desired, garnish with greens and lemon.
