Soon after my divorce, I had to go to the

courthouse to get tags for my car. My husband had always taken care of these sort of things. I patted myself on the back as I tossed the tags in the glove compartment. Not long after, I got pulled over for having expired tags. I quickly showed the officer the new tags. “Did you know these have to be displayed on your license plate?” “I did not know that,” I sighed and explained the situation. Instead of handing the tags back to me and writing me a ticket, the officer put the tags on my car for me. “You’re all set. Have a good day,” he smiled. His kindness made my day!
