All-american Baby Back Ribs Apple-kissed BBQ sauce guarantees these are the best ribs ever

1 cup ketchup

1⁄2 cup apple juice

1⁄3 cup steak sauce

1⁄4 cup + 2 Tbs. packed light brown sugar

1⁄4 cup apple cider vinegar

3 tsp. smoked paprika

4 tsp. onion powder

4 tsp. mustard powder

1⁄2 tsp. salt

2 racks pork baby back ribs ( 5– 6 lbs.)

• In pot, combine ketchup, apple juice, steak sauce, 1⁄4 cup brown sugar, vin4 egar and 11⁄2 tsp. smoked paprika. Over high heat, bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium-low. Cook, stirring occasional­ly, until thickened, 15 min. Transfer to heatproof bowl; let cool.

• Meanwhile, prepare grill for mediumlow indirect-heat cooking. In small bowl, combine onion powder, mustard powder and salt with remaining brown sugar and smoked paprika. Rub over both sides of each rack of ribs. Grill, covered and flipping occasional­ly, until tender, about 2 hrs., brushing several times with 2⁄3 cup sauce during last 20 min. of cooking time. Serve with remaining sauce.
