Hope from Heaven

Whenever Woman’s World reader Paula Pulchin was going through hard times, angels would always let her know all would be well. She writes:

My daughter was just 5 years old when my world fell apart. After 10 years of marriage, I discovered secrets that my husband kept from me, and our marriage sadly ended in divorce.

Every day after work, with the world shut out in the privacy of my car, I fell apart. There was no stopping my tears. I would bang my fists on the steering wheel screaming, “Why, why me?” I looked up at the sky and begged God to send my angels to protect me and my daughter.

When the divorce was finalized, my daughter and I moved into a new house. I prayed that our lives would turn around for the better.

Then one day, as I was cleaning a bathroom drawer, I felt what seemed to be a rock. When I opened my hand, I started to shake. It was a beautiful angel figurine. I knew right then that my angels had guided us and we were finally safe and had found our home.

As the years passed, my daughter became a challenge to raise. I would have sleepless nights, tossing and turning with great worry. I would look up at the night sky and, again, pray to God to please send my angels to me for help.

One day, at my mom’s house, we needed a bag to protect an arts and crafts project that my daughter had made. My mom pulled out a plastic bag from under the kitchen cabinet and as she shook it open, we all heard a thud. An object rolled across the floor and under my chair. I picked it up, and I couldn’t believe my eyes.

There was another beautiful gold angel figurine. I knew this was yet another sign from my angels that everything would turn out okay.

My daughter grew up to be an independent and beautiful young lady. I now have a good relationship with her father. Best of all, I am now married to my wonderful husband, and we are celebrating 11 happy years together. I have learned that angels are always there to protect you. All you have to do is open your heart and ask!
