Woman’s World reader Jane Kearney is comforted by the beautiful messengers her mom sends to let her know she will always be with her. She writes:

On a July day in 2011, my siblings and I stood together at our mother’s grave site. As the priest spoke, suddenly, a butterfly appeared at my eye level, seemingly saying, Look at me, do you understand? The butterfly then went to my sister, fluttering at eye level, then went down the line to my other siblings. After the services, we talked about what had happened, and all agreed Mom had sent the butterfly to let us know that she loved us and would always be with us.

After retiring, I turned my jewelry-making hobby into an e-commerce business. My family and friends were also recipients of my creations. When it was time for my two grandniece­s to receive something, I decided to make bracelets. Each selected their favorite colors, which were pink and teal.

I enjoy listening to music on the radio while I work, which helps with my creativity. As I looked through my collection, I found seven teal-color glass butterflie­s, which I selected as focal beads. As I placed the little butterflie­s into the two patterns I had laid out, “Somewhere over the Rainbow” by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole played.
