WW DIY: Turn an old flower pot into a twinkling posy ‘pond’
Enhancing ambience in any room is a cinch! Just combine a few blooms and a floating candle in a cachepot! Here’s the fast how-to:
What you’ll need:
❏ A cachepot
❏ 6 spring blooms
❏ Greenery snippets
❏ Floating tea light candle
Prepare blooms
1
Snip 6 stems of garden or supermarket blooms (like ranunculus) to 2". Fill a cachepot (that doesn’t have a drainage hole) with water. Add blooms to pot 2
Float blooms around the edges of the inside of the pot, tucking greenery snippets in between each. To finish, add a floating tea light candle to center.
No floating candles on hand? Try flower-shaped battery-run tea lights, like Floating Flower LED Candles, $ 4 for 2, Partycity.com
