“I WAS BLESSED WITH GENEROSITY FROM A STRANGER!”

- — Deborah Mckeon, Virginia Beach, VA

The day I went to mail my son’s birthday package, I asked the postal clerk if priority mail would get it to my son before his special day.

My heart sank when he said, “Ma’am, the only way to meet that arrival date is Express mail, which will be $30.” I quietly said, “I’m sorry, I’ll have to wait.” Having lost my job, I couldn’t afford a large fee. Just then, the man at the next window reached over and laid $40 on the counter. He smiled and said, “I know this is important, and your son should get his gift!” In the middle of the pandemic, I was blessed with incredible generosity from a stranger.
