Sherrie lost 92 lbs!

Struggling with diabetes, weight gain and joint pain, Sherrie Lipscombe got a little relief from yoga. “But I knew I needed to finetune my eating,” recalls the Maryland mom, 52. She read everything she could and eventually embraced many of Dr. Hyman’s Pegan principles. “I started cooking at home, getting lots of veggies and sticking to quality protein,” says Sherrie, a fan of spinach omelets and Mediterran­ean feasts. “I also avoid sugar and processed foods.” Suddenly losing 3– 5 pounds a week, Sherrie shrunk from a size 22 to an 8. “My knee and back pain are gone, and my blood sugar is normal. Once I focused on my health instead of weight, that’s when I succeeded!”
