A mother always keeps a watchful eye

-

Woman’s World reader Meri Harary was confused when she heard her late mother’s voice urging her to delay returning to work from lunch. But she listened— and it saved her life! She writes:

My job was very stressful, so I always looked for ward to my lunch break. Every day, y, I would go by myself to the local Subway restaurant, and sit quietly reading as I ate.

Every day, I left the restaurant nt at exactly 12:45 pm to make sure I was back at the off ice by 1 pm.

One day, as I was about to leave, I clearly heard my mother’s voice in my left ear. She had passed away in 2018, so it took me by surprise. She said, “Why are you in such a hurry? Stay f ive more minutes. Relax.”

Mom used to say that very same thing whenever I visited her and was about to leave. Though I thought it was my imagination, her voice soothed me and I decided to stay.

I relished those f ive extra minutes, reading and rela xing. At 12:50, I headed back to work. As I drove out of the restaurant parking lot, I passed by a horrif ic accident very close to the parking lot exit: Several cars were involved, and one car had f lipped onto its side. It must have just happened b because the police and ambulan lance hadn’t arrived yet.

A At that moment, I realized that my mother’s voice had not been my imagination; her message saved my life that day, preventing me from being involved in a deadly accident. Mom specif ically instructed me to remain at the restaurant for f ive more minutes. She had repeated

“f ive minutes,” over and over, and used the word “rela x” several times as well. It was as if her suggestions “hypnotized” me because I’d never left later than 12:45 all those years.

Some people wonder if our loved ones are still with us after they pass on; I know that they not only remain with us, but become our guardian angels.

I f ind peace knowing Mom is with me, protecting my family.

“I clearly heard my mother’s voice in my lef t ear!”

ANGEL EXPERT SUNNY DAWN JOHNSTON SAYS…

“Meri’s experience is a profound example of how our loved ones can continue to guide and protect us from the spirit world. When she heard her late mother’s voice urging her to stay f ive more minutes at lunch, she initially dismissed it as imagination. But feeling comforted, Meri decided to take the advice. This decision turned out to be lifesaving and proved to Meri that her mother’s voice had actually been a protective intervention. Meri’s story powerfully illustrates the belief that our departed loved ones can and do watch over us.”
