FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Enjoy February school vacation with a week of fun at Patriot Place, including outdoor ice skating at Winter Skate presented by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, animal adventures and rainforest reptile shows, a visit from the Children’s Museum in Easton, several events at The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon and much more. Feb 12-20

Extended Hours at Winter Skate – Enjoy more ice skating at Winter Skate presented by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care with extended hours over school vacation week. Winter Skate, located outside CBS Scene Restaurant & Bar, will be open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. from Feb. 12 to Feb. 20.

Balloon Artist at Winter Skate – Visit Dan’s Balloons at Winter Skate presented by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, located outside CBS Scene Restaurant & Bar, on Saturday, Feb. 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Watch as balloon artist Dan creates your favorite animals from balloons, with a special Valentine’s Day twist. Balloons are free with price of admission to Winter Skate.

Sweetheart Skate – Will you be Pat Patriot’s Valentine? Spend the afternoon skating with one of our favorite New England Patriots – Pat Patriot! The Patriots popular mascot will be at Winter Skate presented by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 14. Winter Skate is located outside CBS Scene Restaurant & Bar. Guests can also create their own Valentine’s Day postcards to be mailed to family and friends.

Feb 15

Animal Adventures at 5 Wits – Visit 5 Wits during February school vacation on Monday, Feb. 15, from 11 a.m. to noon and experience an amazing animal program that is both fun and educationa­l presented by an expert Adventure Guide. Animals will include: ring-tailed lemur, pale fox and North American porcupine. The event, located on level two of 5 Wits, is free and open to all ages.

• Cartooning Lesson at The Hall – Children ages 8-12 are invited to participat­e in The Hall’s Cartooning Lesson from 10:30 a.m. to noon at The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon. This is a special ticketed event. Please visit www.thehallatp­atriotplac­e.com for more informatio­n.

Storytime at Showcase Cinema de Lux – Patriot Place offers a free weekly event for kids and their parents. Kids Club Storytime is held every Tuesday at Showcase Cinema de Lux at 11 a.m. This week, enjoy a special reading of “Now You See Me,” followed by a special appearance by Cat in the Hat. Event is free and open to all ages.

Rainforest Reptile show at Bass Pro Shops – Join Patriot Place for a free reptile show at Bass Pro Shops where you can experience direct contact with live animals, artifacts and fascinatin­g stories about the animals and their natural habitats located in the store’s Conservati­on Room. Event is free and open to all ages from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

The Hall’s Community Comic Strip Contest – Create a four-panel cartoon inspired by Charles Schulz and submit the comic strip with entry form for a chance to win a Hall membership. The famous work of Charles Schulz is currently on display in the Grand Hall at The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon. The display is part of the traveling exhibit, “Pigskin Peanuts,” featuring 50 Sunday and daily comic strips demonstrat­ing the fun Schulz had with the sport of football.
