Franklin Youth Baseball 2016 Spring Registration is Open

FRANKLIN — The Franklin Youth Baseball Organization has open online registration for the 2016 season. You can register at www.franklinyouthbaseball.com.

For new players and returning players who want to pay their registration fee by check, open registrations will take place on January 30th and February 6th at the Franklin Elks Club. Each registration will run from 8 a.m. until noon.

Also, parents that are interested in coaching (head or assistant), can register on-line as well (just like you would for a player).

In spirit of volunteering; FYBO still has one open position on the board for the Snack Stand Coordinator. This position is very important, as the snack stand is a great source of revenue for the league and allows for us to keep our registration fees low enabling more kids to play.

Residency and School Attendance Eligibility: In an effort to accommodate for Little Leaguers to play with their classmates, and ease the burden on parents and guardians, Little League has amended its residency requirements to allow children to play in the local league whose boundaries where they attend school is located. To verify enrollment, parents will need to bring an official school document, such as a report card or school enrollment form, confirming enrollment in the school for the current academic year, dated before October 1, 2015. from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The cost for Instructional Divisions — 6U Tee-Ball & 8U Coach Pitch— is $45 per player. Fast pitch Divisions — 10U Minor, 12U Major, & 18U Senior — is $70 per player.

Registration discount lasts until March 13th & Sibling discounts are available. Darlington is always looking for coaches, sponsors, and volunteers. Player fees must be paid in full at time of registration when signing up online. Players will be eligible for team placement once paid in full.
