Saints sink Vikings
PAWTUCKET — The formula of solid pitching and airtight defense has St. Raphale back near the top of Division II.
Sophomore Sydney Charette allowed just two hits and a walk, while striking out three batters and the Saints didn’t make any errors in a 6-0 victory over visiting Rogers Thursday afternoon.
St. Raphael (8-3 Division II) received a pair of hits and a run scored from Ashley Bullen, while Kaylee Contreras produced a pair of hits and scored two runs.
The Saints make the long trek across the Valley Friday afternoon to face Burrillville.
