Bristol County Savings Bank promotes six to vice president
TAUNTON — Bristol County Savings Bank (BCSB), headquartered in Taunton, Massachusetts, has promoted Jeffrey Bradley, Teresa Janeiro, Lisa Lassiter, Stacie Long, Michael Patacao and Stephen Sherman Jr. to the position of Vice President.
As Vice President/Marketing Officer,
Jeffrey Bradley is responsible for managing the Bank’s website, social media presence, events and public relations. Prior to his most recent appointment, he held the position of Digital & Event Marketing Manager for the Bank. Previously, Bradley served as Director of Community Relations for the Pawtucket Red Sox. Active in the community, he is currently a Board Member for Community VNA in Attleboro, Massachusetts, a Trustee and Technology Committee Member with the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and a volunteer for Attleboro Youth Baseball and the St. John the Evangelist School in Attleboro. Bradley is a former Vice Chairperson and Secretary of the Advisory Board for The Salvation Army – Pawtucket Corps and a past Board Member of Mount St. Charles Academy, in Woonsocket. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Providence College. Bradley resides in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Teresa Janeiro’s new position as Vice President/ Compliance Officer involves administering the Bank’s compliance program within the framework of its Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) system. Specifically, she ensures that the Bank complies with applicable federal and state consumer protection laws and statutes and recommends and implements changes to support the prescribed requirements for compliance. She is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) and is a member of the Eastern Massachusetts Compliance Network. Previously, Janeiro held several positions at the Bank, including Assistant Vice President/ Compliance Officer, Compliance Analyst and Branch Supervisor. Currently enrolled in the Bachelor’s to Master’s Degree program at New England College of Business, Boston, Massachusetts, she earned her associate’s degree in Business Management from Bristol Community College in Fall River and is a graduate of the New England School for Financial Studies at Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts. Janeiro resides in Taunton.
Lisa Lassiter was promoted to Vice President/Controller and is responsible for planning, coordinating and managing the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department and the financial reporting functions for the Bank. Prior to this position, she served as the Assistant Vice President/ Controller, Accounting Manager and Staff Accountant at the Bank. Lassiter also currently serves as Treasurer for the Downtown Taunton Foundation.
As Vice President/ Government Finance Officer, Stacie Long is responsible for delivering personalized banking services and state-of-the-art banking technology to the Bank’s local municipal customers.
A 19-year banking veteran, she served as Government Finance Banking Officer for the Bank prior to her most recent appointment. Long’s professional memberships include the Massachusetts Collectors & Treasurers Association, the Bristol County Treasurers & Collectors Association, the Cape & Islands Collectors & Treasurers Association, the Plymouth County Treasurers & Collectors Association and the Norfolk County Municipal Finance Officers Association.

Wellesley, Massachusetts, Long resides in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
Michael Patacao is now Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer for the Bank’s Southcoast region. In his new position, Patacao continues to be responsible for developing new business and assists with the management of the Bank’s commercial loan portfolio. Prior to his appointment, he served as Assistant Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer for the Southcoast area and Branch Manager of the Bank’s Dartmouth, Massachusetts banking office. Before his tenure at Bristol County Savings Bank, Patacao was Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager at Sovereign Bank in Dartmouth.
Within the Southcoast community Patacao serves on the Board of Directors as Vice Chairman for Junior Achievement of Southeastern Massachusetts, based in New Bedford. Patacao earned his bachelor’s degree in Management from UMass Dartmouth and is a graduate of the New England School for Financial Studies at Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts. In 2015, he was recognized with the SouthCoast Five Emerging Leaders Award and he is a graduate of Leadership SouthCoast, Class of 2016. Patacao resides in Westport, Massachusetts. Stephen Sherman Jr.’s new position as Vice President/Senior Cash Management Manager entails evaluating, developing, marketing and managing deposit and cash management products and services for the Bank’s business and municipal customers. Prior to his promotion, Sherman held the positions of Cash Management Officer, Cash Management Specialist and Business Electronic Services Risk Analyst for the Bank. His involvement in the community includes a close association with the United Way of Greater Attleboro/Taunton where he’s been a member of the Community Allocation Panel for the past four years. Sherman is also an active member of the New England Association for Financial Professionals.
A graduate of New England Institute of Technology, Warwick, with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, he is also a graduate of the New England School for Financial Studies at Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts. Sherman resides in Taunton.
