1967John Sousa grabbed scoring tosses of 12 and 36 yards from QB Joe MarcAurele and also snared a pair of PAT passes from the signal-caller as a fired-up Saint Raphael Academy eleven continued its domination of Pawtucket West by romping to a 26-0 verdict before a crowd of about 500 at McCoy Stadium on Armistice Day. Ron Silva tallied on a one-yard plunge and sophomore Dick Malachowsk­i rambled 24 yards around end for the other SRA touchdowns. Defensivel­y, the Saints sacked Ranger QB Ed Thomsen seven times with linebacker Mike O’Hara accounting for three sacks, linebacker Silva notched two, tackles Kevin Horan and John Harding combined for one and guard Frank Buckbee had the other.
