Letters to the editor policy

The newspaper welcomes letters to the editor and guest commentaries. Letters should be no longer than 500 words and should be typed. Letters must include the writer’s name, hometown and a phone number. The newspaper will verify all letters before publication. The newspaper reserves the right to edit all submissions.
