St. Agatha Seniors meeting of June 6

President Gerard Robidoux opened the meeting with a prayer for Paul Galipeau and Meagan Galipeau. A thank-you card was received from Paulette Beaulieu. Celebrating birthdays were Lucille Lanoie, Viollette Roy, Janet Lamarsh and Doris Durand. Andre and Lucille Lajoie are celebrating their 69th wedding anniversary.

Door prize winners were Jacqueline Guevremont, Constance Bonin, Leo Robidoux and Jeannette Cousineau.

Winners of the raffle were Claire Brodeur, Patriacia Palardy, Jeannette Cousineau and Michelle McDonald.

The members voted not to have a meeting on Wednesday, July 4.

The president is looking for new places for trips that the members would like to go on. He suggested that they place their choices in the suggesting box available at all meetings.

Right now trips are available to Foxwood (June 29) and to Mohegan Sun (July 13). Call Fran Roy at 401-356-1493 for more information.

Winners of the special BINGO games were Albertine Deweirdt, Rita Keegan, Yashi Loya, Claie Theroux and Michelle McDonald. Constance Seider was the caller.

Pitch winners were Lucille Lajoie, Janet Lamarsh, Marguerite Dubois, Marcel Hebert, Robert Laplante and Normand Piette.

Tickets will be available this week for the July 11 ‘Picnic Buffet Style.’ Hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, grilled chicken, beans, potato Salad, chips, pickles corn bread and watermelon are on the menu.
