Claflin Hill Symphony ‘Summer Winds’ Concert at Daniels Farmstead
BLACKSTONE — The Claflin Hill Symphony Summer Winds present its annual concert at Daniels Farmstead, located at 286 Mendon St in Blackstone, Mass, on Sunday, Sept, 9, 2018 at 3 p.m. This has become a tradition over the past 10 years, and always marks the final performance of the CHSSW, closing out a season of concerts throughout the region. “We always look forward to performing at Daniels Farmstead,” said Paul Surapine, Founding Executive and Artistic Director of the Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra, based in Milford. “It’s a wonderful setting for an afternoon concert in late summer, and in a sense, kind of “extends” the summer season for us for another week!” The Claflin Hill Symphony Summer Winds will perform a varied and entertaining program of music ranging from Broadway, to Hollywood, to light classical, patriotic and pop music. As always during a CHSSW summer concert, a special tribute is performed in honor of our Nation’s Veterans, and a musical moment will honor the memory of all of those who perished on Sept. 11, 2001.
