Irish humor tonight to aid historic preservation
LINCOLN – The historic Valentine Whitman House will present a show by Dave Kane called “Jokes My Irish Father Told Me” on Friday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m. Kane is known for his fantastic story telling with a dash of Irish wit. The show will be held at the Lincoln Senior Center, 150 Old Jenckes Hill Road, Lincoln. The doors will open at 6:30. The Friends of the Whitman House are the host for the evening, and the show is a fundraiser for the 1694 stone-ender homestead, located at 1147 Great Road. Reservations can be made by calling Pat at 401334-2182; the cost is $12 per person. There will be coffee and pastries after the show with tickets being sold for raffles.
