A mostly dry stretch of colder-than-average weather is in store for Southern New England. The coldest core of the Arctic air will be through early Sunday. After that, next week, temperatures will moderate a bit but will still be below average. Storm systems will be surpressed off to the south of east of us. However, we could experience some light snow and/or flurries mid-week next week as the second of those two storms interacts with another reinforcing but dry cold front cutting across our area. TODAY: Sunny, colder than it has been. HIGH: 28-33. SUNDAY: Sunny, not quite as cold, some high clouds in the afternoon. HIGH: mid-upper 30’s. MONDAY: Sunny, not quite as cold. HIGH: near 40.
