1975 Even though Dave Flanagan gave up four unearned

runs in the fifth inning, he still allowed only three hits, fanned nine and walked four as Tolman edged Pawtucket West 5-4 in the Metro opener for both clubs at McCoy Stadium. An RBI double by John Dougherty and run-scoring singles by Flanagan and Dave Leggat highlighted a five-run outburst by the Tigers in the second inning. The three hits off Flanagan came from Steve Galuska, Al Klapman and Steve Panners who clubbed a two-run double, while losing pitcher Ron Goode spun a four-hitter, struck out 11 and walked two for the Rangers.
