The advertising agency’s ParentKind employee-resource group helps with parental advocacy, engagement and community. In 2019, events included CPS 101 for parents to learn the ins and outs of Chicago public schools, and Grown and Flown, for advice on supporting older children and fostering independence. Annual events include Sip and Swap, where parents gather outgrown clothes, books and toys, and find new items for their kids, and Kids’ Day, where parents bring their children to work.
