Beauty Collection­s Making Debuts At the Shows

From MAC’s Art Library to Puma x Maybelline, these are the lines launching throughout fashion month.

Backstage is where the beauty magic happens, and brands are gearing up to unveil their latest this season. Below, the key launches hitting the catwalk during fashion month.

BOBBI BROWN X

ULLA JOHNSON

Bobbi Brown and Ulla Johnson are paying homage to Johnson's muses in a collaborat­ion. The makeup line consists of an eye palette for $45, cheek palettes for $40 each, lip tints for $34 each and crushed lip colors for $29. The products — named after Johnson's favorite people — will be available to the public in March after making their debut at Johnson's show on Feb. 7.

MAC ART LIBRARY

MAC is launching Art

Library, a collection comprised of three 12-pan eye shadow palettes designed by MAC's team of artists. The palettes retail for $48 each and are sold alongside false lashes,

$17, and three lipsticks, $18.50 each. The full collection launches in Nordstrom doors and online on Feb. 14, and the products will be used at various shows, such as Chromat, Jeremy Scott, Brandon

Maxwell and The Blonds. R+CO’S BACKSTAGE COLLECTION

R+Co is going beyond hair care with a collection based on the New York Fashion

Week experience­s of founders Garren, Thom Priano and

Howard McLaren. The Backstage Collection includes three products — Art School Root Touch-up Gel, $26; Magic Wand Brow Gel, $20, and the Dark Waves Fragrance Gel, $28 — that are vegan, cruelty-free and gluten-free. The line will be shown at Anna Sui on

Feb. 11.

PUMA X MAYBELLINE

Puma x Maybelline is the latest beauty-streetwear collision hitting the market. Launching Feb. 8, the collaborat­ion includes five limited-edition products, three of which — a mascara, eye shadow duo stick and face stick — are new. Puma and Maybelline will fete the line with a launch party during New York Fashion Week.

TOKYO COLLECTION BY OPI OPI's newest destinatio­n collection is inspired by Tokyo and features bright pink, orange and blue hues. The collection will make its debut at the Adeam show, at which viral manicurist Mei Kawajiri will be the lead nail artist.
