Oscar de la Renta, Goop and Kiton are among a wave of tenants moving into the Royal Poinciana Plaza in Palm Beach, Fla.

Zimmermann, Renny & Reed and LoveShackFancy have also moved into the landmarked, 62-year-old, 180,000-squarefoot open-air space.

Though 100 percent leased, The

Royal Poinciana made room for new tenants by relocating some businesses already on site, including Sotheby’s International Realty, Douglas Elliman Real Estate and MD Beauty Labs by

Dr. Dadurian, as well as by redesigning some space on the property and through the departure of one store called Collective.

“When we first laid out our vision for the Royal, we had high hopes for the stores that would join us, but this new group combined with our beloved existing tenants surpasses even my own expectations,” said Samantha

David, head of Up Markets and chief operating officer of WS Development, owner of The Royal Poinciana Plaza. WS Development, is a large Massachusettsbased vertically integrated company that develops, owns, operates and leases urban buildings, lifestyle centers, power centers, community centers and mixeduse properties.

WS took over The Royal Poinciana, built in 1957, five years ago for the purpose of redeveloping it with a mix of smallish, less-known-yet-still-upscale shops — many with an artisanal character — that are found on the streets of Sag Harbor in the Hamptons, with its concentration of local entrepreneurs, as well as with some more widely known brands such as Oscar de la Renta and Hermès.

The mixed-use setting is in its third operating season since the redevelopment. It’s become a year-round hub for the Palm Beach community and tourists, according to David.

Designed by architect John Volk,

The Royal Poinciana has a European flavor and a leisurely setting marked by courtyards, outdoor furniture, fountains, palm trees and gardens. The property, which was restored to its original midcentury style, is programmed to encourage visitors to spend much of their day there, with a mix of luxury retail, fashion, dining and entertainment.

Goop is a lifestyle brand for wellness, travel, food, beauty, style and work created by Gwyneth Paltrow. Kiton is an Italian men’s wear brand known for utilizing exclusive fabrics such as pure vicuña yarns, cashmere, wool and fine silks.

LoveShackFancy, founded by Rebecca Hessel Cohen, is a collection of vintageinspired, romantic dresses. Oscar de la Renta, launched in 1965, has endured as a leading luxury brand for ready-to-wear, accessories, bridal, children’s wear and fragrance. Renny & Reed is a 47-year-old floral and event design company, and Zimmermann is a fashion collection founded by sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann in Sydney, Australia in 1991.

The Royal Poinciana’s tenant roster also includes, among others, Sant Ambroeus, Palm Beach Grill, Hermès, Saint Laurent, Alice + Olivia, Assouline, Zadig & Voltaire, Assouline, Kirna Zabête, Palm Beach Bicycle Trail Shop, Squeeze Pilates Palm Beach, Theory and Toojay’s Gourmet Deli.

Gavlak Gallery, originally a pop-up on the property, will reopen in a new space. “Both the national and international artists and collectors who attend our exhibitions love the elegant, chic architecture and experience of The Royal,” said Sarah Gavlak, founder of the gallery.
