A particularly evil virus, as it invades your cells and recodes your DNA entirely, usually resulting in death as it often mutates your internal organs into being unusable so you’ll meet your end in agony. Some may survive and be left with the kind of changes that grant you super-human capabilities, and variants were formed to create super soldiers. However, the disease spreads easily via physical contact and the majority of people aren’t lucky enough to live through the mutation process. A life of genetic superiority for some, agonising death for everyone else. Why do mad scientists always think it’s worth the risk? Thankfully it’s incapable of travelling across water so can be contained if you follow proper quarantine procedures.
