WWE Raw 2

Surpassed in recent times by 2K’s current series, Raw2 nonetheless justifies a Hall of Fame spot as the last exclusive-to-Xbox WWE game. There was a time when each console would get its own specific grap sim, and this stood out for innovative elements which have been lost in time – such as walking using the D-pad but seamlessly breaking into a run via the left stick.

Also curious upon reflection is the ability to complete for heavyweight men’s titles, such as the WWE Championship, with female characters – a nod to Stephanie McMahon and Chyna’s inter-gender matches of the time. From a roster standpoint, it remains the only WWE game to feature Nidia, Jamie Noble, and Chris Nowinski.
