PAUL MANN HULL NO. 37: MEET JICHI

The 61-foot Jichi (above) is the latest Paul Mann launch. This custom sport-fisherman can get to the fish fast. Powered with twin 1,925 hp Caterpillar C32 ACERT diesels, the yacht reportedly makes 38 knots while her Cat diesels turn 2,000 rpm and burn 156 gallons per hour. The vessel holds 1,631 gallons of fuel, which means that with a 10 percent reserve, Jichi has a 357-nautical-mile range at cruise speed. At her top hop, the sport-fisherman is said to hit 45 knots at 2,330 rpm with a 202 gph fuel burn. At that speed, range is about 327 nautical miles. Jichi has a threestateroom, three-head layout for tournament crew, a teak interior, and an air-conditioned cockpit mezzanine with freezers and refrigerator stowage.
