Intellian’s v85NX ($41,000) is built to provide reliable satellite communications. The system has a 33-inch dish and internal componentry operating on Ku-band frequencies (12 to 18 GHz) that can be converted to Ka-band frequencies (26.5 to 40 GHz). The v85NX has a redesigned radome, and a single cable carries power along with transmitted and received data to and from the system’s componentry.
