THE CHAIR

Inspiration for this design is the tail of a diving whale. Think about the gray fabric stretching out along the chair’s sides in the same way that a tail’s flukes spread left and right. A whale’s tail also has a notch in the center of its trailing edge, much like the notch in this seat back.
