Vicem builds its semidisplacement yachts with cold-molded construction. Basically, the process is laminating, with West System epoxy layers of thin mahogany plywood and planks set at differing angles over a jig, creating a strong and lightweight hull.

The hull includes a layer of fiberglass on the exterior surfaces and in the bilge. Each hull is faired for smoothness and then finished with Awlgrip.
