Otam says its 65 HT is the fastest boat it’s ever built, achieving 60 knots with twin 2,000 hp MAN V-12s. Francesco Guida handled exterior styling along with the interior and cockpit designs. The cockpit, instead of having a teak sole, has gray Esthec arranged in an athwartship pattern to accentuate the boat’s width. The space is party-ready, with a sink, refrigerator, ice maker, wine chiller and stowage for tableware. The interior decor was inspired by private jets, with a monochromatic black-and-white color scheme that echoes the use of carbon-fiber elements in the boat’s construction. Indirect lighting and white surfaces help to brighten the belowdecks space, where there are no hullside windows.
