Pearl Yachts has grown over 20-plus years—not in terms of quantity of hulls but in terms of its model sizes. “We only build between five to 10 yachts a year,” says managing director Iain Smallridge, “but we still compete very favorably with the biggest builders in the world when it comes to quality-price ratios. … We’re precisely where we want to be: a low-volume, high-quality brand, very much in control of who we are and where we’re going.”
