The sessa marine KL 40 is the flagship of the builder’s Key Largo line, drawn by Sessa Marine and CentrostileDesign. The KL 40 has a forward sunbathing zone, two berths, and a cockpit that transforms into an entertainment area thanks to electrohydraulic drives that lower topside sections. The boat is powered by three outboards that deliver up to 1,275 horsepower and 55-knot top speeds, according to the builder. Options include hull color and a carbon-fiber T-top. Whom It’s For: This fast whip is for owners who appreciate sporty rides and comfortable après-appointments. Picture This: It’s a perfect morning off Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. You and your partner enjoy stiff espressos on the KL 40’s lowered side terraces before diving into North Sound’s bathtub-warm waters. Then, it’s a fast blast to Anegada to spot flamingos.
