Fusion’s handheld mic for speakers; BEP Marine’s smart-hub battery monitor; and Veratron debuts its VL Flex 52 digital gauges.

LOUD SPEAKERS

Fusion’s handheld microphone ($130) lets owners of compatible Fusion stereos make announcements over their speakers. This tool can be handy when docking or communicating with the crew. The mic has an IPX7 water-resistant rating, an embedded preamplifier, and plug-and-play installation. The mic also has a playback-override feature that pauses music during an announcement. BATTERY MINDER

BEP’s smart battery hub monitors voltage information for batteries, as well as state-of-charge data on battery banks. The hub ($2,000 for the twin, $2,400 for the triple) is compatible with CZone digital-switching systems. The latter feature lets owners control a vessel’s batteries from CZone keypads and monitor battery levels via touchscreen. The hub is compatible with 12- and 24-volt systems. SWISS ARMY SCREEN

Veratron’s VL Flex 52 digital gauges interface with analog input sensors and can display up to 22 kinds of data (such as engine or speed information). Users select what to display via an app. Unlike traditional analog gauges, VL Flex 52 gauges simultaneously display two data sets, as well as numerical and graphical information. VL Flex 52 gauges ($120) have sunlight-readable lenses with anti-fog coatings. Veratron, veratron.com
