If you cruise with a Vetus-built bow thruster, the CANverter ($520) gateway device lets you monitor and control it (and other Vetus products) via NMEA 2000-compatible devices, such as a multifunction display. The single-cable CANverter allows communications between V-CAN and N2K networks via an embedded microprocessor and two isolated transceivers, giving users more control and monitoring capabilities.
