The ArT of ConCepT MuSe
Looking more like a sculpture one might find at the Museum of Modern Art than at a builder’s stand at a boat show, Nobiskrug’s 295-foot (90-meter) concept is a collaborative effort between the German builder and Britain’s Bannenberg & Rowell Design. Her distinctive feminine lines earned her the name Muse, and her flush-deck design emphasizes free-flowing synergy between the exterior and interior spaces. nobiskrug.com, bannenbergandrowell.com With so many midsize vessels putting on their best 100-footer imitations, the world premiere of Adler Yachts’ 76-foot (23.1meter) Adler Suprema was a breath of fresh air at last fall’s Cannes Yachting Festival. The full-carbon, semi-custom hybrid yacht has no pretention to be what it’s not, yet every confidence in what it is— a technologically advanced hybrid vessel that doesn’t sacrifice form for function. Italian designed and built, and German and Austrian engineered, this “sports utility yacht” has a sizable flybridge, smart living spaces and fuel savings thanks to her HMS Hybrid propulsion system. Interior and exterior design is by Nuvolari-Lenard. She’ll be a must-see at her North American debut at the Miami International Boat Show in February. adleryacht.com Bilgin has delivered 155-foot (47.2-meter) Giaola-Lu. With indoor and outdoor spaces intended to accommodate a large number of guests, Giaola-Lu still maintains a cozy, family-living atmosphere. Sporting an entertainment suite by harman/kardon, the yacht allows mobile-device control of the sound system, climate, lighting, curtains, televisions and cameras.
