it’s not surprising that when fashion icon roberto Cavalli bought a yacht, he involved himself in the design. Construction on his 88-foot-6-inch (27-meter) CCn Fuoriserie Freedom is well underway at the Cerri Cantieri navali shipyard in Carrara, italy. scheduled for delivery in summer 2018, the all-aluminum yacht is designed in collaboration with tommaso spadolini, a superyacht designer who is also a friend of Cavalli’s. the exterior and interior reflect Cavalli’s desire to engage with the sea while ensuring privacy. A full-beam master suite is forward on the main deck. the salon is designed to fill with natural light. And Cavalli will ride in the fast lane as Freedom should scoot along at 40 knots, thanks to three water jets.
