OVERMARINE/
Since its founding by the Balducci family in 1985, Overmarine Group has become known for its dedication to investment in new technologies and innovative development. In its quest for progress, it has expanded from its Viareggio base and acquired a facility near Pisa, where the Mangusta Oceano and the Mangusta GranSport lines, Overmarine Group’s recent venture into steel and displacement hulls, are built. With more than 300 yachts delivered and so many years in the business, Mangusta is a brand of great tradition and distinctiveness, which today boasts three different product lines: three different ways to experience the sea, but offering the same technical innovation, the same manufacturing quality and the same philosophy that sees the vessel as the ideal way for an owner to live a truly personal experience.
The line of the tradition is that of the Mangusta Maxi Opens. It’s the sporty, fast yacht par excellence, which allows moving quickly from one place to another in full comfort (in terms of onboard space, but also in terms of noise, stabilization and vibrations). To the Mangusta Oceano line belong trideck oceangoing vessels in metal. They are optimized for a range to rival those of the explorer vessels—up to 5,000 miles—and have a beach area that can be turned into a toys area. Last but not least, there’s the new fast displacement line, Mangusta GranSport, falling between the full-displacement and planing models. These are long-range vessels with their best performance in displacement mode but capable, at the same time, to reach higher speeds, those typical of high performance yachts, whenever desired by the owner.
The group spans 10 production facilities in Tuscany, Italy, totaling around 190,000 square meters. It also
has two wharves equipped for the final preparation of the yachts, layover and the after-sales service. All processes are carried out within the group’s companies, from designing and making molds, to molding, lamination in composite materials and cutting the steel, through to fitting the interiors, including the electronics and onboard systems. The group also has its own in-house design department able to satisfy all the layout and decor demands of our owners, as well as a cutting-edge technical office and after-sales service available 24/7.
The after-sales service, together with a strategic network of offices and assistance in different areas of the world, is able to help owners with their yachts before, during and after delivery.
It offers fast, high-quality service, 7 days a week, providing continuous assistance and excellent levels of care, becoming a fundamental reference point for all Mangusta owners.
It additionally has branch offices, in Miami, USA, and Golfe Juan, French Riviera. These, plus a strategically based network of dealers, guarantee complete assistance.
