NEW BALTIC IN BUILD
Baltic Yachts is building a 146-foot (44.6-meter) sailing yacht with naval architecture by judel/vrolijk & co. The yacht— Baltic’s third-largest by volume—will be constructed using epoxy Sprint and pre-preg carbon. She will have twin rudders and a lifting keel that reduces draft to 11 feet (3.4 meters).
The owners’ stateroom and three double-berth guest staterooms will be amidships and forward, while accommodations for seven crew in four cabins will be aft. notable features will include a foredeck tender well, a fold-over anchor system, a lazarette, captive winches and a 550-horsepower main engine driving a forward-facing pull propeller that can rotate, eliminating the need for a stern thruster. balticyachts.fi
