8 UTKATASANA Chair Pose, vari­a­tion (or T-Rex Pose)

Keep your feet where they are. To cre­ate T-rex arms, draw your el­bows in to­ward your sides and curl your fin­gers into claws. Then, bend your knees, and drop your hips as if you are about to sit in a lit­tle chair. Draw your hips back, and pre­tend you have a long, heavy tail like a T-rex. On an in­hala­tion, lift your chest up, and feel your col­lar­bones spread wide. On an ex­ha­la­tion, let out a big T-rex roar, and swish your T-rex tail from side to side. Stay here for 5 breaths, then fold for­ward to re­lease.
