YOUNG RIDER READER SURVEY SWEEPSTAKES (Pg. 37) OFFICIAL RULES Sponsor/Entry Period: Enter between 6/12/19 and 8/1/19 (“Entry Period”). Sponsor: EG Media Investments LLC, 4635 McEwen Road, Dallas, TX 75244. Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the 50 U.S. and D.C., between the ages of 8 and 16 at the time of entry. Employees of Sponsor are not eligible to enter. How to Enter: Complete the reader survey; submit your answers and your name, postal address and phone number and parent’s or legal guardian’s email address by postal mail to YR Reader Survey Sweepstakes, 4101 Tates Creek Centre Drive, Suite 150, #324, Lexington, KY 40517 (“Entries”). 1 Entry per person. Get permission from your parents to enter. Entries must be received no later than 8/1/19. Selection of Winner: 1 winner will be selected by Sponsor in a random drawing held on or about 8/8/19 from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning are determined by the number of eligible entries received. Winner Notification: Potential winners will be notified on or about 8/15/19 via the parent’s or legal guardian’s email address, phone number and/or postal address provided at Entry and will the parent or legal guardian will have to execute a declaration of eligibility and release (“Release”) within 7 days of the date on the Release to be eligible to be awarded the prize. If a potential prize winner’s parent or legal guardian does not respond to the winner notification and does not return the executed Release within 7 days, or if an entrant is otherwise found to be ineligible, or if the potential winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason, the potential winner will forfeit the prize and an alternate winner will be selected. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use each winner’s name, city and state where winner is located and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation. Prizes: The prize to be awarded is a SmartPak gift card (approximate retail value ((“ARV”) $100). Winners are responsible for any taxes on prize. No substitution or cash equivalent permitted, except by Sponsor. Prize is non-transferrable. Conditions: Entrants agree to the Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Entrants release, defend and hold harmless Sponsor, and SmartPak (“Released Parties”), from any and all liability whatsoever against Released Parties arising out of Entrant’s participation or use of a prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or the announcement of any prize or in the event Sponsor is prevented from continuing the Sweepstakes by any event beyond its control. How to Enter: Submit a photo of you and your favorite horse only (“Theme”) and your name, your postal address and phone number and parent’s or legal guardian’s email address (collectively, Entry(ies)”) and enter one of two ways: Either email to yreditor@egmediamags.com (“Email Entries”) or send by postal mail to Young Rider Me & My Horse, 4101 Tates Creek Centre Drive, Suite 150, #324, Lexington, KY 40517 (“Entries”) (“Mail In Entries”). 1 Entry per person. Get permission from your parents to enter: If you submit an Email Entry, Sponsor will contact entrant’s parent/ legal guardian to consent to the entrant’s participation in this Contest and the collection of entrant’s personal information. To be eligible Email Entries must be received by 8/1/19 and Mail In Entries must be postmarked by 8/1/19 and received no later than 8/8/19. Requirements of Entry: Your Entry must be original and not copied from any other copyrighted work and your Entry should not contain any prominent use of any third party trademarks, trade names, brands or logos or otherwise violate the rights of any third party. Grant of License: By entering you (and your parent/legal guardian on your behalf) (“Entrant”) grant Sponsor the perpetual, fully-paid, irrevocable, non-exclusive license to reproduce, distribute, license, display, or otherwise use throughout the world your Entry in any manner for any purpose, including advertising for Sponsor or others without further consent or payment to you or any other person or entity. Entrant will hold Released Parties harmless from any claim by any third party relating to any rights in your Entry. Winner Selection: All Entries will be judged by Sponsor based on the following (1) quality of the photo submitted (2) potential appeal to readers (3) originality (4) adherence to the Theme (“Judging Criteria”). In the event of a tie, the tying Entries will be re-judged based on quality of photo submitted. Five Entries with the top scores will be the selected as the five winners.
