YOU’LL LOVE THE WEATHER
Who wouldn’t want to be at“the sunniest”place on Earth? Well that’s how the Guinness Book of World Records describes Yuma, where the sun shines 339 days a year.
The year-long average high is 88. Add to that the area’s relative low humidity – you know,of course, that dry heat feels so much better than the wet heat – and you have near-perfect living weather.
Sure, it can get hot: In fact, our record high is 124 degrees, set in July, 1937 and again in the same month of 1995. But it doesn’t take much time to get comfortable with our summer weather. After all, we believe that adjusting to warm weather is much more fun than getting comfortable with snow, ice and those below-zero temperatures.
