YUMA PALMS RE­GIONAL CEN­TER

Lo­cated at the north­east cor­ner of 16th Street and In­ter­state 8,Yuma Palms Re­gional Cen­ter fea­tures more than 490,000 square feet of depart­ment and spe­cialty stores,restau­rants and en­ter­tain­ment,as well as walk­ways,plazas and gath­er­ing ar­eas that in­vite so­cial in­ter­ac­tion.

Yuma Palms Re­gional Cen­ter en­com­passes four main shop­ping dis­tricts: a vil­lage, a power cen­ter, a re­gional cen­ter and a restau­rant row.All dis­tricts are in­ter­con­nected through shaded pedes­trian walk­ways, which are seg­mented by small, grassy plazas with sit­ting benches and wa­ter fea­tures.

THE FOOTHILLS

What started as Hank Schechert’s vi­sion of a recre­ational ve­hi­cle and mo­bile home com­mu­nity for win­ter vis­i­tors has ex­panded to a vir­tual sub­urb of Yuma, com­plete with all the ameni­ties you’ll need dur­ing your visit in Yuma. While many of the lo­cal shops and busi­nesses still cater to our win­ter vis­i­tors, you’ll find more, from swap meets, to gro­ceries and other ba­sics,to gifts and places to pam­per your­self.

YUMA MESA SHOP­PING CEN­TER

A long­time hub of shop­ping in the area, Yuma Mesa Shop­ping Cen­ter, lo­cated on the south­east cor­ner of 4th Av­enue and 16th Street,fea­tures Del Sol gro­cery store, nu­mer­ous shops, and places to get a bite to eat, in­clud­ing Dog Haus and Dunkin Donuts.

LAS PALMILLAS SHOP­PING CEN­TER

Lo­cated on Cas­tle Dome Av­enue, just north of the Yuma Palms Re­gional Shop­ping Cen­ter, Las Palmillas in 2017 wel­comed as a new ten­ant Sports­man’s Ware­house,an out­door sport­ing goods re­tailer. Other ten­ants in­clude Hobby Lobby, Planet Fit­ness, Bed Bath & Be­yond and Mr. B’s Bi­cy­cles.

THE BIG CURVE

Lo­cated in the bend in the road where 32nd Street and 4th Av­enue join, the Big Curve fea­tures sev­eral restau­rants, an Al­bert­son’s gro­cery store and a wide va­ri­ety of other busi­nesses.

GOMEZ PLAZA

Work is con­tin­u­ing in the devel­op­ment of Gomez Plaza, a com­mer­cial area lo­cated on the south side of 17th Street, across from Yuma Palms Re­gional Cen­ter.
