SAHRA annual conference

Business owners, managers, supervisors, human resources, professionals and the public is invited to Southwest Arizona Human Resource Association’s annual conference “Engaging our Community, Equipping Business Professionals.”

The conference will be from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 28 at AWC Schoening Conference Center, 2020 S. Avenue 8E. Cost is $85 before Oct. 8; $105 after Oct. 8, and includes continental breakfast and lunch.

Professional development program

The quarterly lunch and learn professional development program produced by the Yuma County Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Foothills Bank has been moved back a month. The program will be at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 27 at the Yuma Golf and Country Club, 3150 S. Fortuna Ave.

The move allowed the chamber to bring in bestselling author Tony Rubleski to deliver his Mind Capture program. His presentation, “Referral Magic: How to Keep Your Customer Coming Back Again and Again” has wowed audiences from coast to coast. Seating is limited to 100.
