SAHRA annual conference

Business owners, managers, supervisor­s, human resources, profession­als and the public is invited to Southwest Arizona Human Resource Associatio­n’s annual conference “Engaging our Community, Equipping Business Profession­als.”

The conference will be from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 28 at AWC Schoening Conference Center, 2020 S. Avenue 8E. Cost is $85 before Oct. 8; $105 after Oct. 8, and includes continenta­l breakfast and lunch.

Profession­al developmen­t program

The quarterly lunch and learn profession­al developmen­t program produced by the Yuma County Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Foothills Bank has been moved back a month. The program will be at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 27 at the Yuma Golf and Country Club, 3150 S. Fortuna Ave.

The move allowed the chamber to bring in bestsellin­g author Tony Rubleski to deliver his Mind Capture program. His presentati­on, “Referral Magic: How to Keep Your Customer Coming Back Again and Again” has wowed audiences from coast to coast. Seating is limited to 100.
