Pam Herring and Billie Ward teamed for a net score of 64 to win the “Big CupLittle Cup” ladies twilight league play on Tuesday afternoon at Mesa Del Sol. Second place went to the team of Tiffany Humer and Phyllis Mashburn with a net score of 70. Shannon Mason won the KP on the 13th hole, while the KPs on the 17th hole went to Pam Upayokin and Phyllis Mashburn. Everyone is welcome to join us Tuesday at 5 p.m. for a shotgun start for nine holes of golf, food, fun and great company.

Gloria Gentry posted a net score of 62 to win the Desert Hills Ladies “throw out two holes” play on Tuesday morning. Trish Steffey and Sue Janney tied for second place at 63. The KP winners were Gloria Gentry and Sue Janney.

Bob Rehn and Steve Parrish were the winning two person computer pick best ball team in the Wednesday morning play at Mesa Del Sol with a net score of 52. Nancy and David Givens were second with a net best ball 60, while Nancy Holmes and Jack Parker won third net with a 61. The skin winners were Pinky Throckmort­on, Garry Sletten, Steve Parrish, Hank Browning, David Givens, Bob Rehn, Sam Samples and David Henager.

In the Mesa Del Sol Men’s Twilight League, Robert Gomez shot a net 29 to lead teammate Jeff Buffmyer to victory in a big cup-little cup net combined total with a 64. Mike Van Allen and Jerry Crump were second with a 65. Terry Hanson and Dave Maehling were third for the second week in a row with a 68. Gomez launched himself into the lead in the spring season points race. Next week’s event is a two-man, net shamble format. Play begins at 5 p.m.

The Desert Hills Pro Shop is sponsoring a “3 Dukes and a Queen” Captain’s Choice golf tournament with 10 percent of the team handicap applying on July 4 with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start. Women will play the red tees and men will play the white tees. The $25 per player entry fee includes green fees, cart fees, range balls and gift cards for the winners. Players may contact the pro shop for entry or additional informatio­n. The team makeup will be one woman and three men.

Thirty-six handicappe­r Bob Rehn carried Steve Martin to a first-place finish in the Mesa Del Sol mixed league scramble play on Friday morning with a gross score of five-under-par 67. First place in the net division went to Sam Samples and Mike St. Claire with Frank Manson and Steve Parrish winning second net and Gerry Sletten and Ed McCoy taking thirdplace net.

Bob Lauer teamed with Peggy Quinn, Sandy Henson, and Dolores Vrooman for a scrambling one-under-par 71 to win the Moose Lodge play on Tuesday morning. Second place went to the team of Frank Domantay, Juan Batista, Shirley Patterson and Loretta Holland with a score of even-par 72.

Donna Conzelman carded a plus quota score of 6.24 to win first place in the Mesa Del Sol Monday quota play with Harry McKemy in second place with plus-four points. Third place went to Sam Samples with a plus-3.5 quota score.
