As a public service, the Yuma Sun is publishing the names and photographs of the following people sought by the Yuma County Adult Probation Department or the U.S. Marshals Service as probation absconders. If you have information that would lead to the arrest of any of them, call surveillance officer Frank Silva at (928) 373-1690. If you know any of their immediate locations, call local law enforcement agencies or dial 911. Do not attempt to apprehend them yourself.
• Samsay Omar Gomez-Cardenas — Male, 33. Height 5 feet 6 inches, weight 220 pounds. Brown hair, brown eyes. His probation violation is for the original conviction of modified count one: attempted sexual abuse (domestic violence), a class 6 felony.
• Valerio Leyva Olivas — Male, 77. Height 5 feet 7 inches, weight 160 pounds. Grey hair, green eyes. His probation violation is for the original conviction of amended count one, endangerment, a class 6 felony, and, amended count two, driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, a class 1 misdemeanor.
• Marco Antonio Tafoya — Male, 63. Height 5 feet 7 inches, weight 155 pounds. Brown hair, black eyes. Tattoos: “L.M.R.” on left arm. His probation violation is for the original conviction of modified count two, attempted child molestation, a class 3 felony.
• Teresa Prieto — Female, 24. Height 5 feet 4 inches, weight 130 pounds. Blond hair, brown eyes. Her probation violation is for the original conviction of amended count one: criminal simulation, a class 6 felony.
